The British Plastics Federation’s (BPF) rotational moulders group is celebrating a record high membership – it has grown by more than 50% during 2012.
493K, ACO Technologies, Francis Ward, Leafield Enviromemtal, Orchid, Rotomotive, Rototek, Tecni-Form and Steel Tool Soltions all joined this year.
The group, which hosted its annual design and innovation seminar at PDM in May, is in the process of working on an educational tool with the aim of securing “greater understanding of the rotational moulding process and its contribution to engineering and design among university students”.
Karen Drinkwater, BPF rotational moulders group chair, said: “Our key targets are future graduates, employees and customers. The group is strategically vital in providing a communications platform to reach out to them.”
