AIC has a composite answer for Far East demand
By PRW Staff Posted 16 August 2012
Composites specialist AIC has continued its expansion in the Far East with the opening of an office in Singapore. This will enable the firm to handle the growing demand for support services for autoclaves and other composite process equipment in China, Singapore, Malaysia and Thailand.
The office has a dedicated engineering capability and a resident sales force to target the composites industry in Asia, which is expected to contribute more than half of worldwide sector’s production by 2015, with a current estimated value of almost £16bn.
Tony Toll, AIC's chief executive, said: “The Far East is continuing to see powerful growth and the requirement for autoclaves and other composite process equipment, fuelled by the aerospace composites industry and its supply chains.
“This provides a great opportunity for AIC to develop this market and represents a significant milestone in growth of the company.”
