Jeff Farrow winds up business and retires
By Anthony Clark Posted 5 February 2013
Jeff Farrow, who operated as Farrow Machinery Sales, has retired aged 65. He worked as the UK representative for German blow moulding machinery supplier Bekum.
“I would like to take this opportunity to say a special thanks to all my customers for their continued support over the years,” said Farrow, adding that after “36 years of being on the road I felt the time was right to take up a more relaxing way of life”.
“My involvement with Bekum started back in 1977 as a service engineer with Hamilton Machinery,” Farrow explained. “I went on to represent Bekum until the closure of Hamilton Machinery 2005, by which time I was sales director.
“From 2005 continued to represent Bekum, along with Delta Engineering and Blue Air System, under my own company name.”
Bekum have chosen Rugeley-based KD Feddersen (UK) a Farrow’s successor while Delta Engineering and Blue Air Systems will be handled by the former Hamilton sales director Nigel Darvill.
