Sofa so good for High Street Design’s Fultech investment

By Anthony Clark
Posted 29 June 2012

High Street Design has taken delivery of a Fultech 300 tonne injection moulding machine as part of an equipment upgrade.

The Fultech machine took 36 hours to install

“We produce lots of furniture components,” said company director, Charles Huckvale. “We’re the only player in town, which is nice.”

The £70,000 machine took 36 hours to install and get up and running – a process that Huckvale told PRW was straightforward.

“It was delivered on a Tuesday morning and was running by Wednesday evening,” he explained.

“Fultech is a supplier of control systems and we’ve been running its equipment for over 80,000 hours on our machines.

"The Spanish company has now started to supply its own machines into the UK via Ease-e-fix,” continued Huckvale.
