Luxus managing director, Peter Atterby, said: “Our business thrives on innovative thinking and good ideas as they shape both how we operate and how we deliver our products and services in the future. So we believe this scheme is critical to both our future success and staff morale.
“We’re really pleased that one of our apprentices, Gemma is our very first winner. Her idea was to create a fail-safe scheme to ensure that any contaminated or quarantined stock held at the external warehouse, does not enter into our customer processes and cause liabilities, costing the business hundreds, if not thousands of pounds.”
