By PRW Staff
Posted 9 July 2012

Vertech was high commended in the Best Recycled Product category of the British National Recycling Awards, held in London 3 July.

The River Tweed Bridge at Easter Dawyck

The company’s recycled plastic sheet material is a viable wood-replacement for some construction applications including railway sleepers, pilings, foundations, sea defences and a variety of structural components.

William Mainwaring, co-founder and CEO of Vertech, said: “We are very pleased to have been highly commended in this competitive category and are delighted that the Judges identified so much potential in our technology.

"The River Tweed Bridge was just the start. We have a range of exciting products to bring to the market over the coming year.”
