Plastics Capital has won two plastic ball bearing deals with a combined annual value of £500,000. The contract is with the firm’s BNL business, a specialist designer and manufacturer of plastic bearings products.
The first is for a leading US security camera manufacturer, the other is for an Israeli manufacturer of swimming pool equipment.
In addition, a project for a Korean manufacturer of security cameras will start before the end of the calendar year. This has an annual value of approximately £250,000.
Faisal Rahmatallah, executive chairman of Plastics Capital, said: "Our OEM customers are continuing to invest in new products and product enhancements despite the poor macroeconomic backdrop, so generating additional demand for the specialist bearing assemblies that we design and manufacture."
BNL has subsidiaries in Foxboro, Massachusetts, Tokyo, Japan, Rayong, Thailand and sales offices in Shanghai, China and New Delhi, India.
