Seminar to highlight available R&D funding

By PRW Staff
Posted 3 January 2013

Rapra, the University of Warwick and the Materials Knowledge Transfer Network are holding a one-day workshop aimed at helping SMEs access R&D funding.

The event, which will be held 1 February at the University of Warwick, will feature presentations from a range of representatives from EU, national and regional bodies with money to finance projects.

Steve Shaw, Rapra executive director, said: “There are many substantial pots of money available that have been ring-fenced by European and national agencies to help forward-looking manufacturing SMEs in particular. The difficulty is often identifying the most appropriate to meet the company’s plans for new product development.

“This workshop will bring the right people together in the right place and at the right time to get those funds distributed – ultimately with the benefits to the whole UK Economy,” he added.
