Hi-Tech Automation unleashes three-axis robot

Hi-Tech Automation is launching the CR10 servo-driven, three-axis robot, developed for both injection moulding and CNC machines.

Hi-Tech Automation was previously agents for both Sytrama and Star. This move into manufacturing its own Cartesian robots strengthens its partnership with Fanuc Robotics and expands its existing in-house manufacturing, which already includes side-entry robots and complete systems.

According to the manufacturer, the CR range of robots will suit injection moulding machines from 30 to 2,000 tonnes and can be supplied as a standalone pick and place device or fully integrated with a six axis robot for more complex packing or downstream tasks.
