SP-High Modulus, the marine business of Gurit, is a silver sponsor of the 2012 Superyacht Cup in Cowes, Isle of Wight.

A number of the yachts participating in the event feature SP-High Modulus’ engineering and materials.

Peter Tyler, head of the firm’s marine sales EMEA, said: “SP-High Modulus is proud to be sponsoring the first Superyacht Cup to be held in Cowes.

"We look forward to seeing many of the super yachts that have used our materials and engineering services taking part in this new and exciting event,” he added.

The inaugural Cowes Superyacht Cup takes place from 22-25 July, just a few days before the start of the 2012 London Olympics.

The event is organised in association with the Royal Yacht Squadron and boasts an impressive number of prestigious yachts participating.
