School children get first hand view of auto manufacturing

By PRW Staff
Posted 13 June 2012

Following last year’s successful roll-out of the See Inside Manufacturing initiative at automotive manufacturing locations across the UK, Vauxhall’s Luton and Ellesmere Port plants are once again opening their doors to local schools during the month of June.

Sessions will provide a first-hand insight into various career opportunities within automotive manufacturing, explained the company.

This summer will also see Vauxhall welcome more than 100 new undergraduates to work placements across its various sites while some 150 apprentices will be joining its engineering and commercial apprenticeship schemes.
