Trelleborg plugs into thermoforming mould

Syntac T-max plug assist is suitable for blister packs
Trelleborg is set to launch it high performance Syntac T-max plug assist material for thermoformers at the 20th annual SPE Thermoforming Conference, being held 17-20 September in Schaumburg, Illinois.

Taking centre stage at the exhibition will be Trelleborg’s new Syntac T-max, a Teflon impregnated, high performance syntactic plug assist material, which according to the company offers greater control over the thermoforming mould process commonly used for blister packaging.

“T-max is the latest addition to our family of Syntac products and another of our first class solutions specifically developed to meet the changing needs of our customers,” said Jim Payton, sales manager at Trelleborg Offshore.
