The firm was presented with the RSM Tenon Award for Customer Service for its “vision and commitment to customers,” according to Richard Brown, Hi-Tech’s operations director.
“The judges were looking at the way we deal with our customers,” he explained. “We had to make a presentation and were then grilled for half an hour.”
Brown said that the success was partly down to a continuing programme of customer service training, which when combined with a quarterly review undertaken with customers, has ensured that Hi-Tech meets and surpasses expectations.
“It was a brilliant evening with a great atmosphere themed around the Olympics with Sharron Davies presenting the awards,” said Brown. “Winning this award demonstrates the commitment of our team to focus on the varying needs of our customers.”
The awards were organised by the Daily Echo in association with Trethowans Solicitors and in partnership with Business Solent and Destination Southampton. The presentation was made at a black-tie event held at Southampton’s De Vere Grand Harbour Hotel.
