The British Plastics Federation (BPF) EPS Group has launched a website that provides a comprehensive overview of the uses and characteristics of expanded polystyrene (EPS) "and its many functions in the modern world".

According to the group, information about the EPS in the construction and packaging sectors can be found in one place for the first time. Group chairman David Emes said: "We have created a website at www.eps.co.uk that showcases how the unique properties of EPS can provide solutions for architects and designers.”

The site contains a wide range of information and visitors to the site can watch a video about an EPS teacup project, find detailed information about the environmental performance of EPS and look into the way it can used to insulate buildings.
