Biography
John Whitehead, deputy editor of Plastics & Rubber Weekly, has been a journalist covering the chemical,
plastics and rubber industries for 30 years. He started his journalism career at Chemical Age Magazine in 1979 and joined PRW
in 1981, where he has been involved in nearly every section of the newspaper, especially relating to the polymer making
chemical companies. John is currently responsible for PRW feature stories. The Manchester University graduate also spent 11
years working for a subsidiary of Union Carbide.
