Distrupol (Stand C035) will feature a robotic motor hand that displays the award-winning glove made of a specialised TPE that won Distrupol the prestigious Supplier Partnership Award at 2015's Plastic Industry Awards.
The innovative glove is used for work activities and situations where liquids and moisture are a potentially dangerous factor. The elastomers used in the glove include hydrophobic additives, which enable water that the glove comes in contact with to simply run off the surface. The glove has an impressive wet grip, helping people to conduct work more efficiently and safely in wet conditions.
The Distrupol team will also present its recently-launched interactive new website which contains an extensive database of technical information, specifications and standards. It has a material comparison tool that compares the features and benefits of different types of plastics and guides customers to find the material that fulfills the requirements of their application.
Distrupol will showcase its extensive range of high performance polymer materials from suppliers including DuPont, Ineos, Basf, Biffa Polymers, Borealis, Solvay Plastics, Chi Mei, Elasto, H.J.Enthoven, Lucite International, Sibur, Teknor Apex, Versalis and Wells Plastics.
