Summit Systems has announced the purchase of Total Process Cooling Ltd (TPC). Located in Solihull, West Midlands, TPC is a chilled water and process cooling specialist delivering temperature control equipment to the plastics industry. The company was formed in 1991.

Initially, Summit Systems will add TPC products into its current range of temperature control solutions, which will further continue to feature hardware delivered by Italian machine cooling specialist Frigel. Over the longer term, TPC will be merged into Summit Systems.

Ian Lowe, operations director at Summit Systems, described the acquisition as a “shrewd move” for the company. He continued, “This is an exciting development which advances us in the chilled market and will help secure our continued growth.”

Mike Jordan, managing director at Summit Systems, said: “By adding TPC into our portfolio we are expanding our range to suit almost any application and provide a bespoke solution. We have been waiting to establish a process cooling solution with a real difference and we’re delighted to have achieved our aim.”
