Laser Lines, a leading supplier of lasers, 3D printers, rapid prototyping machines and vacuum casting systems, is now a certified UK Stratasys training provider.

The certification follows the opening of the company’s 3D Printing Academy. Located on the company campus in Banbury, Oxfordshire, the printing academy offers bespoke courses for FDM and Polyjet systems.

One- or two-day courses are available at the 3D Printing Academy, or at customer locations.

Richard Hoy, business development manager at Laser Lines, said: “The training courses are an extension of the advice and education we have been providing to customers for the past 20 years. With our experienced team able to share their knowledge and experience on both the FDM and Polyjet systems and materials, customers who are trained by us will get the value of some real life application examples.”

Courses range from introductory and refresher programmes, through to advanced training for experienced users. The training focuses on how to maintain the 3D printer, including replacing material or the print head. There is also training on GrabCAD Print and Insight software.
