Axion Polymers has added a series of new personnel across business operations.
Laura Smith has been appointed commercial operations manager, overseeing sales and business development for the Axion locations in Salford and Trafford Park. She will also share responsibility for business development for polymer products in Salford with Mark Keenan.
As the new sales and logistics manager, Amy Stiven will manage sales of all products from both sites, covering high-grade Axpoly polymers, SRF and aggregates derived from UK end-of-life vehicles and waste electrical goods.
Process development engineer, Pasika Chongcharoenthaweesuk, will now manage technical development for polymers, while commercial coordinator, Martina Verescakova will take control of the duty of care checks for material delivered from Axion's advanced processing plant (SWAPP).
Sam Mahoney, transport and weighbridge coordinator, takes care of new and existing business for SWAPP, SRF, aggregates and other materials.
Smith commented: “In almost all cases now, we are required to make a technical sell, whether it is for SRF or RDF, or for fixed development products for polymer customers. Our expert team work together to provide an efficient service that is appreciated by our customers.”
