Colourhouse Masterbatch has signed up as a sponsor of Accrington Stanley Football Club.
The decision to sponsor the League One team was made after company managers were impressed by the community projects organised by the club.
The team plays in Accrington, Lancashire, about 30 miles from Wigan-based Colourhouse Masterbatch. Colourhouse produces a series of additives and colourants used in plastics production across a range of industries, including medical and automotive.
Speaking about the new sponsorship deal, Brian Davies, MD at the masterbatch manufacturer, said: “We attended an event where Andy Holt [club owner] spoke about changes being made to the club and upcoming plans. We were really impressed with what Andy is doing, especially with how this is having a pivotal effect on the local community, and we are really keen to be a part of it.”
Andy Holt commented: “We are really pleased that Colourhouse Masterbatch has come on board to join the Stanley family – even more so knowing they decided to become a part of the club based on our community initiatives.”
