Barnes Molding Solutions, part of the US-based Barnes Group, will be exhibiting for the first time at the upcoming K plastics trade fair.
The K Show will be held from 16-23 October at Messe Dusseldorf in Germany.
Instead of showing products under each of the companies within Barnes Moulding Solutions (FOBOHA, Gammaflux, Männer, Priamus, Synventive and Thermoplay), the presentations will be focused on individual customer applications.
Theme-based sections of the stand will present a ‘full spectrum’ solutions, covering mould making and hot runner technology, including temperature and process control.
Included in these all-inclusive displays, FOBOHA will be showing two cube technology innovations, the Plug-‘n-Play Compactcube and the Reversecube. The second of these is a system of counter-rotating cubes which, as shown on an Arburg injection moulder, can replace several moulding machines with a single system.
Hot runner specialists Männer and Thermoplay will be respectively showing the cylindrical valve gate technology, originally patented by company founder Otto Männer. Thermoplay will present its new range of hot runner systems, capable of supporting multicavity moulds with up to 144 parts. This has an optimised thermal profile which helps to reduce energy consumption.
To support a range of industrial sectors, including automotive and electronics moulders, Syventive will present its new eGate system. Shown for the first time in Europe, the electric-drive gate solution is now available for larger components, ensuring full pin movement control on individual nozzles. The Syn-Flow two-speed pin control tech will also be on show.
For their part, Priamus will present the Quality Monitor system. This solution features the OPC-UA networking interface. Gammaflux will show how hydraulic power units (HPU) can be integrated into the G24, an HPU for controlling hydraulic valve gate systems, together with an integrated cascade control.
Visitors at the K Show can find Barnes Molding Solutions in Hall 1, stand C50 and E50.
