Italian injection moulding machine manufacturer BMB has revealed what the company plans to demonstrate at the upcoming K Show 2019.
The K fair will be held 16-23 October at Messe Dusseldorf.
BMB is planning to show a series of faster, more energy-efficient hybrid and electric moulding machines. These have been designed to support moulding with both recycled and compostable polymers.
The machines will have a reduced overall footprint, helping to maximise the return of factory floorspace. While smaller, the machines will still offer accessibility for maintenance.
Features of the new machines include dual MOOG servo-valves, for faster, more precise material injection.
Machines will further be equipped with hardware and software to support Industry 4.0 principals.
At the K Show, BMB will have four working cells on its stand. A further machine installation will be available for viewing at partner company EnelKon.
On the BMB stand, the company will be displaying an eKW full-electric moulding machine. With up to 1,400 tonnes of pressure, these machines are suitable for a wide range of applications, particularly producing packaging solutions.
The machines feature the KW toggle system which helps to deliver considerable reduction in energy consumption, while also cutting noise and improving overall work area cleanliness due to moving parts working in sealed oil sumps.
In addition to machine function and remote access functions, the machine control systems offer continuous monitoring of KWh usage, helping to monitor and manage energy usage.
BMB will be located at the K Show 2019 in Hall 13, stand A33.
