MBA Polymers UK has signed a five-year, non-exclusive distribution agreement with Albis Plastic GmbH.
MBA Polymers, with UK operations in Worksop, Nottinghamshire, is a leading producer of virgin-equivalent polymers suitable for use in a range of applications.
The company takes end-of-life durable goods through process and purification stages in advance of those recycled products being returned to the manufacturing supply chain.
Across three global recycling sites in the UK, Austria and China, MBA has a total annual processing capacity of 100,000 tonnes.
Paul Mayhew, GM at MBA UK, said: “The Albis Group has played a fundamental part in MBA Polymers’ UK expansion within the European market over the past eight years. The signing of this new distribution contract will enable us to continue to build on our relationship, and also target key market sectors specifically within the automotive and electronics Industries.”
Moving forward, Albis will be well-placed to promote the MBA Polymers brand across Europe in key target markets.
Horst Klink, vice-president, distribution, at Albis, said: “MBA Polymers UK and Albis look back on a long-term and prosperous relationship and we are very pleased about the continued cooperation. With our focus on recycled materials and strong foothold in core industries our ambition is to provide sustainable solutions to our customers.”
