Lindal Group has announced that UK sales manger Peter Morgan is to retire on 31 July.
Commenting on his decision, Morgan said: “I joined Lindal at a time when there were great opportunities to increase business and over the last 34 years, it has been a pleasure to be involved in the growth of the company.
"I have been extremely fortunate to work with some superb colleagues in the UK and abroad, as well as many different customers from the aerosol industry – I believe the prospects for continuing the growth at Lindal in the future are good.”
Phil Lever, group sales director, noted that Morgan’s substantial market knowledge will be missed, as will his sense of humour. “It will be great for Peter to spend more time with his family and of course, give more close attention to supporting his beloved West Ham Football Club! We wish him all the very best.”
Morgan already has some of ideas of how to spend his retirement. “I plan to use my time in the future to travel, attend many sporting events, drink Guinness and most importantly, avoid shopping trips with my new boss!”
Morgan’s successor will be Rob Parkes, a former technical manager and aerosol specialist at Aptar UK. Parkes has been in the industry for 11 years and has a experience delivering solutions for series of sectors, including food and beverage, beauty and pharmaceutical.
Lindal Group offers a full range of full range of aerosol packaging solutions, including actuators, valves, guns and barrier packs. In the UK, the company operates as Lindal Valve, which has a manufacturing plant and sales offices in Leighton Buzzard, Bedfordshire.
